A few helpful details
How do credits work?
One credit covers a one-hour hike for the dogs in your pack. Pickup and travel are included. A one-hour hike usually means 2–3 hours out.

Shortened hikes have a 0.75-credit minimum. Extra time your guide adds is on us; longer hikes you request use the credits above, subject to availability.
What if I bring an extra dog?
A dog beyond your pack’s covered dog count uses +0.5 credit per dog, per hike, including longer and private hikes.
How do private hikes work?
A private pack includes prepaid private upgrades: one $10 upgrade per credit, covering your household. A 60-minute private hike uses 1 credit and one upgrade; 90 minutes uses 1.5 credits and $15 in upgrades; two hours uses 2 credits and $20 in upgrades. Drive-to minimum: 0.75 credit + $7.50 in upgrades.
Drop-ins use credits only. First Hikes need no private upgrade.
Can I use credits for other services?
A 30-minute walk from home or drop-in uses 0.75 credit. Boarding starts at 2 credits per night for one dog. Ask HCH for your household’s boarding total.

What about my existing pack?
Your new credits add to your balance. Existing packs and agreed rates stay unchanged.
